got these mounted today. Stock rims and Mickey Thompson 3743 Biasply tires. I didn't even bother balancing them. What's the point when you run them at 16 psi and the wall wrinkles?

I partially agree with you. At take off it might not matter as much, but once you are cooking at 100+mph towards the end, I think balance could make a difference in how the car tracks and feels to you. For a couple of bucks you would have piece of mind.

BTW: They look great, and you are going to have fun with them !

Dustin, dont worry about the balancing.Not needed.Every burnout will change the ballance of the tire anyways.I didnt it she ran fine.

Ok. I wasnt sure on that. Was just reading the instructions on the bottom of the page where summit listed the tires.

That's what I was thinking too. I went to Town Fair Tire and they kicked me out because I didn't buy there. I went to Tilden's and they were cool there. The guy at the desk knew all about NED, he claims to run a 9 sec camaro there. They actually laughed at me when I said I was going to run 12s.
