Track was slippery tonight because there were no fast cars there, but I ran my first nitrous pass with 75 hp shot and timing backed off 3 degrees above 4000 rpm. I hit the rev limiter for the first time with the slicks on in 3rd gear and had to shift after I let off, that is why my mph is only where it is when I have ran N/A. I had a pretty soft launch as well, 1.80 60ft where my usual is 1.68. I am pretty sure I can go 11.50's with 100-125 hp but we will be waiting for aftermarket plugs before stepping up. I am going to try to get into the 11's with 75 hp. I had to let my wife get some passes in or there was going to be a fight, she's pretty fiesty when it comes to who gets to race when.

I went to the track tonight. It was just to freakin hot. Instead of 6k, I was leaving at 4700 rpm. 5000 would just blow off the tires. I was just glad to be back out there. The dealership has another tranny on order for me. Slight vibration in the tranny and it talks to you when you go into 3rd. The service mgr. actually told me to go beat on the tranny since there's a new one coming.
Now you are really tempting me for that spray. Why only at 107mph? Did you only run it once on the spray? I see you hit the rev lim. I think you'll be able to get into the 11's with the 75, based on your numbers. Knock down that 60' and you're there.

Did you get the Pro racer package? There is just way to much to know to use that freakin program. I still need to hook up the wideband so I can datalog.
I was at the track again today. It was an all Mustang event. I was the fastest 05 out there. There were a couple 10 sec. Mustangs out there. I was having trouble hooking up. I couldn't crack into the 12's. It was so hot! Seeing that I have another tranny coming, I was a bit harder on mine. After about my 14th pass, It started grinding going into 3rd. By the time it came around for the street car eliminations, I had to grind it to get into 3rd and I was running a 13.2 at best.

David, I don't have the pro-racer package. I just have the X-cal 2 and the downloadable software from SCT, I haven't had it working yet to datalog but I will let you know how it goes. Good luck with your tranny.

Hopefully, I'll get the water pump installed before the tranny gets here.
Thanks
