Installed by yourself? Was it tricky?

+1, I know how easy they are, I'd like to hear if my customers are having the same experience.

Dyno Figures

Does anyone have any dyno figures (before and after) as to how much rwhp gain can be expected by going to a good one-piece driveshaft? I've seen (both on this site's forums and others) that the reduction in rotating mass should be good for a gain of 20 to 30 rwhp. But does anyone have any before and after dyno figures to back up these claims?

I'd be really interested in seeing this data, and I'm sure many others would too. If one of these can be proven to provide an extra 20 to 30 rwhp (in addtion to being strong, reliable, no vibration, clearance problems, work on automatics as well as 5-speeds, etc., etc.) then it may be worth the approximately $550 price tag.

Thanks to all for your input.

It's not that you'll gain HP, but you'll get rid of rotating mass on the drivetrain. This will help you get up to RPM's quicker, and it will let the HP that you already have do what it's supposed to do. It FEELS like a 20-30 HP gain, though. Just actual numbers won't be there.

By going with an aluminum driveshaft, rather than steel you'll get better dampening for noise as well. The Coast Driveline shaft is top of the line, and is made from T6061 aluminum. It's the only one other than Powerhouse that I would buy for my personal car. $589.99 shipped to the door. We have plenty in stock.

EDIT: Forgot to mention no vibration, no fitment issues, and there are quite a few people in this thread who have had luck with it. WEIGHS 16LBS!

Here is another driveshaft that has no clearance issue at all and requires no flattening out of undercarriage or vibration issues since it is the same size as the stock shaft. Weighs a tad bit more but still a great shaft.

BASSMOBILL, I didn't install myself. I had it installed with the steeda sport springs. I paid $40 for driveshaft install. The installer said it went in no problem and no clearance issues. Great mod. Car pulls harder, and seems to get out of the hole a lot faster.
