06 gt H pipe SLP

Have SLP loudmouth exhaust. Just got the offroad H pipe installed from AM, and it is RIDICULOUSLY loud. Just curious if its bad that I have no cats and no mufflers now....?
All help appreciated. Thanks guys

Well no, it's not bad. But as you've found out its really loud. You need either mufflers or cats. Just too loud for a DD with neither. I have LTs, o/r h, cams, and flows. It's really loud. But not hillbilly loud. I'm sure yours is close to redneck mullet camaro loud. Put flow master 40s on and you'll be happy.

So with flow 40's, and my H pipe and SLP, will it be louder than the original exhaust where i had only SLP?

Considering that cats are the biggest restriction in our exhaust, any muffler (except deletes) with be in the same volume range with the stock h pipe. I'd guess that flows with the o/r h pipe would be close in volume to stock h and deletes

Hmm. I would hate to spend more money on putting in flows and then it's quieter or sounds worse than with my SLP. I asked for it though! If its not broken dont try and fix it right?

With a off road pipe I would do a chambered muffler that has the best sound, then put a off road pipe on your car to give it more volume and loud factor.

The SLP's by themselves are LOUD but throw in the O/R H and yes it's embarrassingly LOUD! The best combo with the O/R H I've heard was the FRPP Stingers.
