Check out this 05 pulling it's front wheels off the ground. It's Sutton HP's car. There just has to be some serious weight loss in that car to pull the front wheels. I just thought it was an awesome pic to share!

Well, that is now the goal of my car! I'll be thru and happy with mods when my stang can do that.

We need more info on this car. What does it take to get the wheels off the ground?!?

I don't think that Sutton car has the OEM motor in it. I'm pretty sure it has been gutted as well...no A/C, etc. It does look sweet though!

That car is running low 10s IIRC. It definetly has the power to pull the fronts.

I wonder if any of the Ford Racing crate motors would fit in these buggers.... I wouldn't mind putting the 351 in my car $6000 for the motor vs $5000 for a SC... hmmmm

yes update your better technology, overhead cam, variable timing cam, 3v engine to 1920's technology 351 pushrod, i got news for you this 3v with a built botom end and a blower will easily push 700+ hp and be much more efficiant and reliable then any pushrod... but thats just my opinion :nono:

Probably... but picture a 514 crate motor, with a polished 671 blower sticking through the hood... hahaha... yummmm.

But at least some simple-minded people like me can understand the crate motor technology :P

I wouldn't ever take the 3V out of this car, but its a fun thought. NASCAR uses 351s that push 700hp too.

169.You to could have that same picture. That car does make serious horsepower with a four valve cobra motor that is built but the reason his wheel is up that high is called a wheel traveler.Notice that the wheel is not droped low in the suspension. That is because he has limiters.Either a chain or stop.Just wanted to let you guys all know that.My buddy had a malibu that only ran 13,s and he could lift the front left wheel two feet everytime. He wanted show than go.A blown right front shock with limiters and 50/50 rears.Car was all twisted up on the launch. Was funny thow how the crowd would react.

I'm just waiting on some struts for the front end. No one has anything yet. I just received my rear Bogart wheels. I'll be getting them mounted tomorrow. I'm still waiting on the fronts to show up. I'm going to be installing the new axles tonight that have the 3" studs in them. Tomorrow night, once I have the tires, I'll be removing the rear swaybar and cutting the bracket for the swaybar so the wheels will fit. I have the BMR panhard relocation bracket coming so I can install the BMR panhard bar. I want to make sure that I can keep the axle centered and keep the tires tucked in the wells. I'm still undecided on the tires to get. I'd really like to get some DOT tires so there's no issue driving them to the track. I've heard different arguments about the radials hooking better. Right now, I'm going with the ET Drag's unless I hear different about the radials. I'll be going to a 28" slick. The radials only come in a 28"x11.5x15". I think that'll be too wide for my setup.

Cool cant wait to see some new numbers from you.I am waiting for some cooler weather to go back up and see what the 4.10,s are going to do for me.It has been hot and hummid for a long time now.Would be wasting time to run in it.Now that I am building my 90 I am just going to see if I can get the 05 to 11.9 then thats it for her.The 90 is being built for the 8,s It will take all winter. So in the meantime I will run the 05.
