I am glad to see I am not the only one on here old enough to remember the Tijuana Brass! My Dad used to play that album all the time when I was a kid, we loved it!
Oh man, what a throwback. I was in our high school marching/stage band, and we played a ton of Herb Alpert's stuff. He was quite popular at the time.
BTW, I was ask many times about why I was in the band, and not playing football. My answer was "Think about it....when the games over the football players get on a smelling old bus together. Me, when the games over, I get on the bus with the cheerleaders, and letter girls". That usually shut 'em up.................
Matter of fact, one of those cheerleaders is sitting on the couch next to me right now. LOL

You're still a rookie there Kevin. We're at 45 years, and counting (she's the younger by 2 years). I tell people she's crazy 'cause she married me when I was a cop , and she hasn't ever recovered.
She is a trooper, and has put up with my car craziness for all these years. In passing I mentioned to her the wheels on my '07 were showing their age, and I wasn't sure what I should do as a couple are quite ugly. She said, "well, just buy some new ones. What a woman, I guess I'll keep 'er 'cause ain't no other woman that would put up with all that crap.

Ya, Mine Puts Up With Cars about 25 or So on the Property. As Long as I keep her Supercharged HD-F150 in Good Shape she is Not Worried about the Rest. Trained Her How to Park so Battle Scars are at a Minimum. Never Found anything that She Wanted More. We Are Driving What we Got till we Can't Drive No More.
Need to Thin The Fleet They were going to be Projects for me and My Son. Lost him in 2011 To Leukemia. Daughters Don't Seem too Interested.
I got Friends I used to Hang with that are Now on their 2nd or 3rd Marriages. Be Proud of your Longevity. The wife & I have Poor Health these days and I am Basically Caretaker Now. It's Tough But it's For Better or Worse and In Sickness and in Health! Heard That Somewhere.
My Youngest Daughter & Her Fiancee Were Both In Law Enforcement. He is Still, She Recently Went to the Court System for Work. Rough for Both to be LEO's This Should be a Bit Better!

We've talked about this before but there is nothing like a 'car wife'. Unreal support and they actually enjoy our rides and the journey. It helps when you meet real young. She was still in high school when we started dating. We just celebrated our 45th anniversary. with a trip in our recently sold '07 GT to the Outer Banks. She was 100% behind the purchase of our '14 and we enjoyed the trip up to Wisconsin and back to go get it.
When you marry a 'car wife', life is good!

That is so true brother. Mine has turned into quite the 'gear head" in her own rite for sure. The other day she said, "It looks like I'll probably be the only 80 year old woman driving a Mustang GT around town." I told her that with the adjustable exhaust on her car they could at least here her coming, and get out of the way.
Here she is trying to pick up a younger officer in New Brunswick.
