Your right about that, Mustang sales were good, and GM pretty much didn't give a **** about the F-twins, but this car cannot fail - if it does its goodbye Camaro forever, the F5 guys fought very very hard to ressurect the Camaro, I think it will be more aggressively marketed this time around. I'll agree with you in the sense that I don't think Camaro will topple Mustang

I can't get onboard with the GM diehards there as much as they want the F5 to absolutely crush the Mustang in sales as well as performance, its almost disturbing when these guys talk about it.
