V6 coupe or GT vert...
Hi guys. I'm been round and about trying to think of what I would like my next car to be. I have owned two mustangs a 94 and 01, both V6 autos (I'm a noob and driving a stick and would really just rather have an auto) When I first started thinking about what chocies I have for a future car I thought I'd go a different route and get an import, didn't consider another mustang. But after doing countless comparisons a few test drives and such I really didn't find anything that I really thought to myself and said wow, now thats what I want. Its not that I have a huge problem with the V6. I actually like it, which is partly why I think I couldnt' really find anything that made me want to part with it. Nothing I looked at really caught my eye look wise. I did like some of the imports interiors better, and I like sun roofs. But quickness is also important, Not that I'm out to race people and all, but it would be nice to know for sure that if I wanted to, I could out run a certian cars if that makes sense. Anyways, after running around the import sites and all I've come full circle back to the mustang
and thought to myself, well, even though I haven't been in a mustang GT before I know they have to be faster and more fun to drive than my car. I've also never rode or drove a convertible before. And thought well, if I want to be different and for sure quicker, but still keep the same mustang looks and such that I love, why not a GT (99 or up)...and while I'm at it make it a convertible. I do plan on finding one for sale and test driving it, I just haven't gotten around to it lol. But since I have never drove or rode in a GT or a vert, I'm not really sure what to expect. I was wondering if I am going to get behind the seat and after the test drive is over think to myself "Woot
I know what I want now!or "darn, now I don't know what I should get" I'm hoping that I'll be blown away by the performance difference, the sound of the V8, and the feel of driving a convertible. Now, heres where you guys come in, I was wondering if anyone has driven both and can kind of give me a comparison to the driving experence and performance or what not before I go test drive one. Oh and some of the differences between driving a coupe and a vert. Kinda like seeing the movie trailer before you go see the movie I guess. And since this is technically a which is better topic I guess you all could answer on which is better, more fun, more reliable, ect.....An auto V6 coupe or an auto GT convertible? And do you think I will be impressed or not?
Thanks, Justin
