on digital cable, we have basic cable.

well technically we dont. our tennants purchased basic cable and for some reason, now we get it, FOR FREE! oohhhh yeahhh. and since we're not even paying for basic cable, digital is just out of the question lol

 

I saw it a couple of weeks ago on speed channel!
They were talking smack about the Mustang's SRA. That's why I asked if the Mustangs that won the drifting contest had the standard SRA?
The guys were drifting the GTO most of the time, and singing the praises of its IRS.

 

I've never even heard anyone praise the GTOs IRS. But I have heard many many good things said about the Mustangs rear axle. I'm pretty sure I heard they drift with the SRA too.

 

yea me too, but these guys seemed to be working for Pontiac the way they were talking about it.

watched it and was really supprised at the overt bias. Was like an infomercial for Pontiac. Even when the GTO did not get first, they would say that it beat the Mustang. Theyd just kinda skim over who won when it was not a pontiac. Certainly a car with greater displacement, 100 more hp and $10k greater price tag should thouroughly stomp its competition, which it only beat by fractions. Was funny when the GTO beat the Mustang in the slolom or some such by .2 seconds or so they praised it for blowing the Mustang away, when the GXP thing lost by over 2 seconds they said even though it didn't finish on top it was beaten just barely.

I have nothing against the GTO, with 400 hp and the price tag, it darn well better beat a much cheaper car with 100hp less.
