If you have an Fbody car, you gotta check out GMMG, they make some really nice special edition cars for many of the big chevy and pontiac dealers. http://www.gmmginc.net/

Catback exhaust and airflow are important on these cars. Put a good exahuast on it. Next you should lower it.

The tire prices scared me though, so ill have to see what i can come up with. Ive got some time to think though, its going into hibernation as soon as i get it, and not coming out for about 5 months.
Definitely go with those wheels
My friend has a red '98 Trans Am and he put those rims on. they look awesome. i cant recommend them enough

Haha, whatever you think man, I had four people compliment me when I was stopped to get gas or food yesterday.

Anyways, yesterday I drove it through Idaho and Montana and it is now sitting at the Canada/US border waiting for all the export papers to clear. It got 27mpg going through all the mountains yesterday, and it was a lot faster than i was expecting. I love it. Still gonna miss the stang though...

Haha, thanks...

Seriosuly though, theres no way it could break more than my stang. In a little over a year of owning the car, i had to replace the engine, tranny, clutch, fan clutch, rad, heater core, and some other things that i cant think of right now.

The one thing that scares me about the camaro is that the engine bay is apparently pretty tight, so theyre supposedly pretty tough to work on. But it's been babied by the guy i bought it from (62 years old), so i shouldnt have too many problems with it... I hope.

Got the insurance quote today... $337 a month.

Good thing it'll be in storage for half the year and i'll only be paying about $15 a month . I think i'll have to shop around a bit...

$337 a month is outrageous. For full coverage, I pay about $160 a month, and I'm only 21 with a clean driving record. I know youre young too, but are you 21 yet? Rates tend to go way down when you reach 21, at least in my area. I hope you can afford those rates in the Spring.

Ya, it is ridiculous. And im 19, but my driving record is completely clean for the 3years+ since i got my license.

I cant imagine itll be hugely different anywhere else, so i might have to drive without collision, cus that would prob take at least half off that.

GOOD CHOICE SCOTTYBOY302!! I OWN A 94 CAMARO WITH THE LT1 WITH ALL OF THE GOODIES AND I THINK YOU`LL LOVE THE POWER YOU GET WITH THE LS1. AWSOME ENGINE!! THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE CARS. (IVE OWNED A FEW AND NEVER HAD TO MANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM) ALSO PROPS TO YOU FORD GUYS. I READ A LOT OF FORUMS AND I HAVE ALWAYS NOTICED THAT THE FORD GUYS ALWAYS SHOW RESPECT TO CAMARO GUYS AND IT`S NOT ALWAYS THAT WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE. I`M A CHEVY GUY FOREVER BUT I HAVE TO SHOW RESPECT WHERE RESPECT IS DUE. THE COBRA IS AN BADASS CAR AND I GO TO THE TRACKS A LOT AND I KNOW THEY ARE FAST!! CHEVY AND FORD WILL BE BATTLING FOREVER BUT JUST SO YOU GUYS KNOW THAT WE CHEVY GUYS ARE NOT ALL THAT BAD. KEEP YOUR HEADS UP AND KEEP KICKING RICER ***!!!!
