New 2014 Mustang v6 NOW or after 2015 model?

Hi all, I'm new to this form and just wanted you opinions, So now I'm in the market for a base 2014 mustang v6. I found one at my local dealer for $18k. So I wanted to know should I go for it or it might get cheaper after the 2015 model becomes available. I don't mind waiting six months or so.

Depends on
a) if you like the new body style;
b) if you want IRS vs SRA;
c) if you're willing to take some risk of repairs since 2015 is the rollout of the new S550 platform. There are often a few hitches, though warranty should protect you;
d) if you can get a great price on a 2014 S197.

I'm not interested in the new 2015 style. What I am asking is do you think that I could find a better deal on a 2014 mustang, which I found one for $18k, after the 2015 model comes out ?

Oops. Sorry. I misread it. I would think good deals on 2014's would be plenty once the 2015 is actually available - assuming Mustang buyers embrace the new style.

Having said that, $18k sounds pretty good. Bird in the hand...

That's a pretty good price. Most of the new mustangs around me start at 20k with all rebates. I doubt they will get cheaper than that even after the new ones come out. Hell most of the used 14's are around $20k too.

I just picked up a used 13 premium V6 with nav. I had a V6 base before. It is totally worth the extra cash for the premium if you can swing it. I got it for a little cheaper than a new base. If anything get the tech package with sync and fog lights. You can add leather pretty cheap from eBay.

The 2014s that are still around after the 2015s come out may be cheaper, but you might not be able to find one you want. So I agree about a bird in the hand.

I'm happy that I ordered the V6 Premium, but the differences might not be worth the increased price to you. If I were you I would look around to see what V6 Premiums are available and what they are going for and would settle on the car I liked best (Base or Premium) and pull the trigger now.
