I would say the terminator, hands down. Few cars were as loved and feared as that car. When I see one on the streets still, I lower my windows and shut off the music just to hear it accelerate.

the coming 2013 GT500 w/650 hp might just be the 'boss429' of this century...they fixed the backend, the interior was already sweet, the nose is a little iffy, but not bad enough to my eyes that I wouldn't want the car because of it...then of course a 650 hp mill under the hood wouldnt be a bad feature either
with inevitable fuel/emissions/green at any price mentality, these days cant last forever...I was afraid a couple years ago we were in 1971 again, with a whole new breed of pinto on the horizon, but nope...its 1969 again- hope it lasts![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
BTW- i *still* think in fords future there is a 4 valve 429 possible...the hurricane is seven litre capable, so a DOHC 4v429 is not out of the question- long as the economy/fuel situation keeps us behind the next 1971, I still dream of another BOSS429 model. the gt500 @ 650 is ridiculous already, but heck why not a unboosted pure motor 500hp beast with enough torque to move the earth...put a blower on it for 800hp Shelby, just to keep the other guys on their toes... funny how Ford dropped the 650hp bomb the same day the ZL1 camaro numbers came out...betcha that rained on GMs parade a bit

Why not call the 2013 GT500 the 2013 GT600 since it will have over 600HP? I'm pretty sure the 03 Terminator Cobra wins hands down for most desirable vehicle 2000-2010. Between the years 1990-1999 I would give it to the 98 Cobra R as the best for those years.

I think one of the big wins for the Terminator is the price to perf ratio it had when the car came out. They were pretty accessible for alot of people. The GT500 not so much (especially with the silly ADM's dealers were asking and speculators willing to pay <--- who btw should be hunted down and run through with pikes and let their corpses rot till the bones clatter to the ground) making them consistantly pricey even used and comparitively rare as hen's teeth and while that might somehow in the long run make speculators happy 100 years from now it does norhng but hurt the brand in general.
