Any Mustang fastback with a V8 and manual trans, The 05 belongs with them too, its like Ford returned to where they left off in 1973.

I love the 05 but my favorites are

'70 boss 302 calypso coral
66 stang fastback (first classic mustang I owned!!)
67 plymouth gtx (first car)
68 ford mustang fastback (bullitt!!!)
68 hemi charger (from bullitt!!)

WOW you did open a can of worms here.
You need to define them into muscle classes.
! Limited to the big bucks guys.
2 Avaliable to all of us hard workers.
3 Fast in the quarter.
4 Fast top end
5 Looks mean but thats about it.

I assume you are talking about full stock road legal US cars.

I liked both the 60s RS and later Mustangs for both show and go that we all could afford.
The Super Bird has to be the top end king and that wing was neat. The real ones were road legal and limited but the price was for the big bucks guys.

I'd like to say this vintage Mercedes Racecar is mine. Sure would be nice. That's me sitting in it this past summer when I instructed at an AMG Challenge at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Very cool and expensive car! :worship:
