My vote goes to the 2005 Mustang GT. Inside and out. What do you think?

The 1968 Mustang Shelby GT350.
I could have bought one in 1972 for $2,500.

Talk about being an idiot.

Depends on what you call a Muscle Car, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder..........

I'd say:
1) GT40 427 (more a Sports Car than a Muscle Car, but it is beautiful!)
2) 70 Buick GS stage 1 455 convertible
3) 69 Cougar 428 CJ convertible (definite bias there;-)
4) 70 Torino Cobra 429CJ
5) 69 Mustang BOSS 429
6) 65 Riviera GS w/ dual quads
7) probably the next SVT Cobra convertible
8) 69 427 Corvette
9) 68 Charger R/T
10) anything I haven't thought of ;-)

Welcome to a boatload of answers to this one. The '05 deserves it's props, but it doesn't beat good old mid 60's to early 70's American muscle

Mopar was dubbed "fast but ugly" for a reason back then. Though some of the cudas were nice, I feel most of the mopars back then were just plain UGLY!

My favorites - can't pick just one - and in no particular order are:

'69 Chevelle SS396
'70 Olds 442 W-30
'68 Mustang GT Fastback
'69 Dodge Charger R/T
'67 Chevelle SS396
'67 or '68 Shelby GT

Well, while it's here, I vote for the Endura Bumpered Goats. Yum.

But second is the '05 Mustang. Really.
