More snake oil?

I'm not sure if I forgive CS for this stunt, the GT350 and the Dodge Shelby Omni. the Omni was declared the winner in a comparison. What was found out latter if I remember right GT350 was set up with tall gears.

Dose anyone else remember more about this?

 

Saw that omni on speed channel. It was turbo charged and very light weight. kinda the ultimate sleeper, almost no one knows about them and they are all factory and quick. Forget the exact specs, car just didn't float my boat but thought it was neat for what it was.

 

Look at the Omni thought, it looks like a bug!

 

Wasn't the Omni the same as the VW GTi? We had a '84 GTi back in the day, they didn't call them pocket rockets for nothing. It was very light and wicked quick.
