LS2 in a GT
I'm not sure, but I imagine in reality, it would take way too much engineering to get that motor in a Stang. It would also have no resale value (a bastard like that) -- so unless someone with too much money does it for novelty, it ain't gonna happen....

Along the lines of a motor swap...
I had a dream last night I took a late model F-body (Camaro/Firebird), took out the engine/trans, back seats, rear cargo area... basically everything from the front seats back and everything under the hood. Then I converted the hood area into a trunk, and dropped a V-12 Lambourgini motor into the rear area. How is THAT for an engine swap??!

WHen looking objectively, I have to admit the LS2 is a fantastic motor,
I just saw a '69 Camaro SS on the street tonight, GM really missed the ball by not building a retro '69 Camaro. That would sell like crazy.
