Lincoln LS vs Lincoln MKS vs Lincoln MKZ

which of these Lincoln sedans do you guys like best? i have to go with the LS. having rode in one every week for about 4 years i have to say i loved that car. made my uncle go out and buy 1 of them...an 02 and an 04...and the 04 was just bad ***. black on black, V8, navigation, it was just perfect....saddens me that they stopped production. i just made this thread because i've been thinking about the LS lately...and why my uncle sold his 04.....but what do you guys think?

I gotta go with none of the above.

Instead may I suggest

1986 Lincoln Town Car

My mom's car back when I was in high school. Took it to prom, girls loved standing on my lap through the moon roof as we drove through town, and you could easily fit your drunk buddies in the trunk on the way home from a party so they didn't yak on your mom's velour seats!

Lincoln Town Car...the other 5.0!!!!

I owned a 04 LS and it was a great car. I now own a 09 MKS and have to say that it is miles ahead of the LS. It has a much better ride and feels way more luxurious, plus has much better technology.

MKS! I haven't driven one yet, but I sat in one at the Cleveland Auto Show.
Plus, it has the Ecoboost.

Only the 2010 have Ecoboost and it is an option. An Ecoboost MKS With the same options as my 2009 is stickered at $8000 more then mine was. Not worth it to me. I test drove one and was not that impressed. The 3.7 on mine has plenty of power.

I love the 2002 LS, especially the V6 5MT version.

Yet I have to go with Tom and Gary, My mother was the proud owner of a 1990 Cartier Edition Town Car. It was white with a blue roof and a 5.0L

Personally I like the MKZ- even the 05-09's. I'd love to see the Ecoboost in one AWD format- Hopefully that's not too far off. That car would be pretty stout.

LS is a DISTANT S197 cousin

A little ford history . . . The Lincoln LS (DEW98) is a rear drive with an independent suspension . . . .. . It was actually the starting point for the S197 Mustang design . . . .. a couple of years into the S197 design, pretty much all the floor pan sheet metal changed away from the LS floorpan . .. . mainly because of the solid rear axle on the S197 . . .. . The 2 seater thunderbird (M205) actually uses a chopped DEW98 floor pan . .. . . The Lincoln MKZ actually share a little heritage with the Mazda 6! SO any Loyal Mustang guy should prefer the Lincoln LS! With a manual and 18 inch chromes . .. . . I think they made 1 or 2 . .. .LOL! If anyone sees an 03 LS with manual and chrome 18, 20,000miles, factory nav .. . .call me . . .. I will buy it for $9000!

Almost had an '05 LS. My brother has an '03, after Ford beefed up their V6 and Jaguar 3.9 in it. It handles freakin' sweet and accelerates beautifully

The LS had so much unrealized potential. A very nice car car throughout its run, but never achieved its potential, being held back by Ford's "good enough" ethos of the time.

Had they slapped a supercharger on the motor, like Jag did its variant, and firmed up the suspension and brakes, they could have had a real M5 competitor. But no, they left it mired in insipidness until it, like so many other Ford products of the era, simply withered on the vine.
