Hi all,
I thought this would be a good topic. I always see us posting threads with kills on a daily basis (that cause our cars are so fast) any how, I very rarley see any threads of us getting killed in a car .vs. car race and before I countinue this thread, yes I know street racing is illegal, but when your on the turnpike late at night what the heck. So I'll start off, by the way these kills are what is getting me amped to mod.
1. On the Jersey turnpike very late. I see this hooked up (Jetta/Pasat). I started playing with him and then, he just was running laps around me. I mean even when he got behind me he began to walk me down. Then pulled next to me and just dusted me. I don't know what this guy had but darn. My brother said maybe nitros.
2. A couple a weeks ago, again on the turnpike. I start messing around with this little Subarus. It was silver. I could tell it had some work done to it. It looked like a WTI (or whatever) Anyway we go at it, I get in front of him and he is right on my behind, I mean right there. Zooms past me, so I catch up with him AFTER he slows down and I said while were driving, what the heck you have in there. He said a 4 cyclinder twin turbo and he is pushing 500 horses to the wheels. He then says your messing with the wrong car, all I could do was just laugh.

I got spanked by a 12 second 67 Camaro at the dragstrip 2 weeks ago. It wasn't a "kill" it was a masacre haha. But oh well, that's what you get when the idiot owner of the track decides to drop the sportsman times into the 12 seconds, it just kills us normal cars.

I was blown away when I read a few days ago that in southern Cali if you are caught street racing, they will tow your car straight to a crusher. I can only hope this is a trend that doesn't get popular with lawmakers in other states.

I want to run a 350Z, I really like those cars. A buddy wanted to come run me, he's out of state, until he heard I'm running 13.6's, while his Z is running 14.3's.
How about a Ford Lightning, what do the late models run stock? I expect with a few mods, they'll be far out of my reach.

i only had one race
i met a friend south of a larger city around here on a 4 lane highway
he has a 04 F150 5.4L Lariat Crewcab we were both going around 70 and we both hit it at the same time....i walked him up to 100 then we both let off

What else can you expect from CA? Some people over there hate fast cars. They think we should all drive electric go-carts... yet they call themselves open-minded to lifestyles/hobbies/professions they don't understand. More like open-minded to lifestyles/hobbies/professions only THEY approve of.
This sort of law will also cause car enthusiasts to become more interested in quality radar detectors (Escort Passport 8500 X50, Bel, Valentine 1, etc) and laser jammers (Blinder Extreme). It's pretty tough to ticket something you can't clock.
My list:
1. '04 Z06 Vette on a highway. I was just toying with him in the dead of night, trying to get him to get on it. I knew he was going to blow my doors off, but I've never actually seen what one can do. He finally nailed it and walked me.

Hmm....You know as a father of 4 and rapidly waving bye to 40....I can see how "road racing" is in the same class as most of the Vonage commercials.
Having said that....I think there is a "new" racing term we CAN use....instead of kills....I have been maiming (and been maimed). That's the quicket guy up to the posted speeds (approx). C'mon....You're leaving the local Wallyworld. You're in your 98' 626 and you notice your neighbor in his 02' Town and Country....Who's going to make it to the left turn lane first? You both mash your feet to the floor...and well, no squeal...but.....

That sort of attitude is probably part of the reason why there are so many police chases in CA. Especially since street racing is SUCH a subjective thing. You could be coming off an on ramp and a cop could call you for "street racing" because there was another person in the other lane and you passed him. I know if I was going to have my car crushed for giving my car too much gas for half a second, I'd be giving the cop one helluva run for his money.

i cant wait for it. and, the viper was side by side with him until 100mph then he pulled away SLOWLY. lolthe truck in the avatar is a friends, it is a lifted 05 6.0 powerstroke super duty.

I have kept all of my one-on-one racing on a track. That's not to say I won't run my car hard on the street or interstate when safe... but I prefer to do my racing at the track.
As far as my most memorable "kill" thus far??? Heads up against an '05 GTO at California Dragway 3 weeks ago. His ET was 0.16 sec quicker, but I was 0.300 sec better on the tree... so I beat him by 1-1/2 car lengths!!

last weekend... a 98 Mustang GT... the guy wanted to race sooooo bad, he stayed with me for a while, i finally decided to play, and as soon as he heard me downshift he took off... too bad he was waaaaay back in my rearview mirror the whole time!
On another note, i did some freeway pulls with my boyfriend in his 05 Mitsubishi Evo 8 for fun (it runs 11s in the 1/4 mile, it's most definitley not stock)... he was about 6 bus lengths ahead of me as soon as the turbo spooled. lol.

Me and my friend went head to head the other night. He has a 04 Mach 1 stock and my 05 has 20" rims and magna flows which probably cancel each other out. We were pretty much even until he missed 3rd.

killed a cop car....no joke...he was a young cop in town and i cut thru the gas station and the guy with the new charger around the block is talkin to the cop and im like HEY LIKE THE MOVIE BULLITT..the cop starts goin OHH I HAD 3 MUSTANGS!! (hes like 22) soo i leave and he flies up behind me (in his patrol car) all smiles. he follows me thru the u-turn and pulls an illegal one. i meet up with him back on the highway and wave. in the megaphone hes like "YOU WANNA RUN"?? my brother repeats what he said and my jaw dropped. i go ok...but ur crazy!!....into the megaphone he says "i give u permission" soo i gunned it. i lined up with him and we both raced...he sounded the cool cop horn thing then we went. i won....he pulled up and said AWESOME!! then drove away.
another short story. he pulled over one other buddy of mine with a 98 GT just to see his car, and he gave him a cop business card which is like a PBA card.
i know it sounds pretty bizzar but i tell u no lie
