How will the GT fair against the GTO 6.0
read a review at road and track. were talking 1/2 second here and there. I am wondering if the camaro will be in 2007 with a 5.4 liter?
Still our pony car held its own on performance with a car that has 1/3 more HP. Of course we got the looks beat on that ugly thing!

5.4 liter? GM has no 5.4L thats a Ford Mod motor. GM has a 5.3L, but if GM resurrects the Camaro you can bet it will be running an LS2.
Unless they look at what Ford has done with the Mustang and decide that a smaller less powerful motor is in the best interest of sales (5.3,5.7), but I would put money on an LS2 in the next Camaro iteration.
Back on topic; stock for stock an LS2 powered GTO will beat a 05+ GT with equal drivers. Throw an intake, tune, and 4.10s in the GT and I'd bet the little 4.6 could pull ahead.

I've also heard a Challenger is being worked on for 2008. But who know's if that is true or not also
GM's zeta platform got pushed back to 08' by the time they're done with development the S197 body style will be in for a restyling, possibly a new engine. Ford always relied on a smaller, yet still great perfoming engine to make the price lower. The mustangs pretty much have a had a good record of consistently outselling the Camaros.
