Looks, Resale value, Racing? Also they made those a lot of years. Lots of Different looks. SVT was probably the Baddest Looking with the Dual Rear Spoiler and Cooler Interior.

I'm pretty sure that was a Ford press photo, may have even been in the brochure one year (87or 88 maybe), and they made a big blunder. 5.0 wheels, 5.0 badges, but its a 4cyl. Look at the exhaust.

yes but is there a specific purpose for which would be the best (drag racing, raod racing, cruiser, ect.)?? or do you mean just the best in general? if you mean in general then i dont think you can really decide which is the best. it all depends on what you think if the best in your eyes. as you see in this thread already with Blue Notch and Red Star's answers, your gonna have many different answers. as for me, i'd like a 90-93 LX 5.0 Hatchback with a 5 speed manual. i'd take that and mod it to my taste. or if i were lucky enough, a 93 Cobra...ive only seen ONE in person...

 

Ok which would you say is best in a drag race?..cause I've seen a many notchbacks fall to a hatch

 

hatch back and only a 1982 gt

 

for drag racing maybe a notch or hatch. if i remember right the notch is the lightest although im not sure by how much. im sure if modded and tuned right, it might not even matter between a notch or hatch.

+1, always thought the aero nose trunks with big & littles and a 3" cowl made for a mean looking drag car. Especially when it had an off-road pipe and 2 chamber flows --->getting all misty eyed for my youth... sniff<---
