I saw that one also . .. . . . they measured ~465 HP (I believe) at the rear wheels. < 10% loss due to transmission . . .. . thats pretty good! (They claimed Ford was ripping them off). You are right thoughs guys are complete morons.

They also said that if you put a piano on the top of Morris Marina it helps with aerodynamics.

Don't take Top Gear too seriously.

Great Top Gear segment. Skip to about 4:20 if you just wanna see the fiesta vs. vette part and don't care about the review of the fiesta.

Looks to be a great little car
Can't watch that link because our-tube pulled it.
I knew a woman who owned a fiesta from the mid to late 80s. Typical ho-hum econo car. Did 0-60 in about 10 minutes. (just kidding) But impressive in the performance arena it was not.

That Fiesta looks remarkably like a Mazda 3. Now lets get those two cars out on the track. That vette will own it. Hand brake turns and all.

Sure - at least until they get to the "beach assault" portion of the test. Let's see how well the plastic-bodied car does then.

I'd still rather have the zo6 in the mall chase... You could run the fiesta over if you wanted to...

Holding true to GM engineering, the driver better know how to swim!! Besides that, all that salt water on an all aluminum frame and cowl support is not a good combination!
