I've heard mixed things on drone with flows on the '11s... I know my buddy's '06 with flows drones like crazy! I've never heard a report of any drone with Roush exhaust (plus the aggressive sound is great on the 5.0s.) That said, I'd buy Borlas... Lol

I ended up trading that 'stang in for an '11 GT Vert and installed some Roush axelbacks on. They have ZERO drone and sound INCREDIBLE!!! They produce the sound that a real mustang should sound like!
On my 2011 GT with BBR O/R X-Pipe, that means no cats...so the exhaust is louder, stock pipe from the X-Pipe back to the Super 44's, left the stock resonators in place, I have ZERO drone. Does my Mustang sound like a REAL American Muscle car to you?

As I said, with my setup, there is ZERO drone. When I had the stock H-Pipe with Cats still on the car, I had a muffler shop simply do a muffler delete. Car sounded AWESOME, I really LOVED the way it sounded, but had some droning at 2,000-2,500 in 6th gear at 60-68mph. Check out these videos of that setup:

Then I had the BBR O/R X-Pipe installed and without mufflers, it was WAY too loud. Droned like crazy. But the power gains with the O/R X-Pipe were significant!! So I then tried a few different things, different mufflers and couldn't get the sound I wanted without either droning or, too quiet. Finally, I sprang for the Flowmaster Super 44's and now, it's awesome. I'll do a better in car video if you wish. But this video clearly shows that in the car, windows up and A/C on, traveling at 60-65mph in 6th, there is ZERO drone. You can even give it gas in 6th at 2,000rpm and not get drone.

Like I said, just let me know if you're interested in having me make a better in car video.

I agree! Drone isnt bad enough to give you a nose bleed, but you didnt get FM's to be a wallflower either!

Roush all day. Get a lot of compliments from non gear heads that it is still loud and mean but not ignorant and annoying.
