A buddy of mine just bought a SXT and I was curious, I can't recall reading any threads about the Charger 6 & the Mustang 6 going heads up?
So if your unaware here's the specs:
Charger has 250 hp/torque and weighs 3800bls
Mustang has 210hp/240torque and weighs 3351lbs
So How do you think it would stand up against the charger sxt ?

 

well....dodge has a history of..."fudging" the numbers when it comes to power....I remember a recent Motor Trend test where they dynoed a Viper, Z06, and GT, and the viper had the largest % of loss from the factory claim...so that 250 may not be too accurate....$0.02

 

My wife's Vibe might give the V6 Charger a good run, though the Charger would just prevail. A stock 4.0L Mustang will wipe the floor with it. Now then... the two V8 version are totally different beasts...

He had a Chevy Silverado and had begged me to race him.. and he gets this charger and doesn't even mention a race so maybe he knows .. Aight thx for all the responses, I was kinda thinking with the specs. that it woudl be a drivers race, but since you mentioned they are iffy with #'s

Mustang all the way.
I have Chrysler's product with 3.5L (Intrepid), although its rated at 214 hp but it also a lot lighter than Charger. It doesn't stand a chance against my Mustang.
