In what regard - straight-line acceleration, cornering, braking? Each of these cars has strengths and weaknesses if you compare them in these areas.

Some magazines that have comparisions include a back issue of Car and Driver that looked at the Mach 1, 350Z, Audi TT, and Honda S2000 and the current Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords that matches up the GTO and Mach 1.

By the way, if you have a 2003 Mach 1, hope to see you on the Mach 1 Registry website sometime.

 

Straight line...forget it...Mach 1 all the way....some crazy euro road rally...I'd say the Z and the GTO...well..it's a heavy goat.

The latest MM&FF did a drag race comparison between the Mach1 and the GTO. It was pretty much a dead even ET, except I think the GTO had a faster MPH.

 

This is off topic, but does anybody remeber the Integra Type-R/Mustang GT comparo?

IIRC, they selected a fast track that favored top speed. The GT smoked the Type-R much to the editor's dismay.

 

having a mach myself i say the mach cuz ive killed both on the street and off the street!!!

Straight line speed = Mach 1

Top End Speed = GTO

Handling = 350z

but with nice mods.... youll leave both sucking air!!
