I'd also love to build me a T-Bucket with the biggest Motor I can get my hands on, then Supercharge it
Is a 460ci the biggest motor Ford offers? I know alot of people put Chevy Motors on their Buckets, but it's gotta be all Ford. :headbang:

dont get me started on the old school fords with chevy engines GRRR. i hates it. :notnice: its like breedin with th' enemy. but it could be worse. they could be using honda soda bottle engines. oh wait, they arent total morons

It's 514 cubes as they will ever be, just that it started out as a 460, and converted to a piston that travels up/down more to get more space. (longer stroke)
Longer strokes give you the torque.

could you bore and stroke a 429??????????
You can bore and stroke almost any engine, but,Ford engineers and Holman and Moody got plenty of power from stock bore and stroke Boss 429's. Besides, the stock boss has a forged steel crank. We pulled 600 hp on the dyno with this setup, pics at : www.1969boss429.com plugs are easy to change, and until you here a Boss 429 singing at 7000 rpm you don't know what you are missing. Then again,a Cobra Daytona with a killer small block would really be nice to own.

lilbossman, I am sure it is a very nice example of a Boss 429. But, what a waste of a machine. These cars were built to be driven, not stared at.You may as well get a copy of Playboy and look at the models cause you won't get a chance to drive there either. :bang: But, to each their own. I'll drive mine until I can't,then maybe I'll just sit and look at it.
