I am biased -- but the 69 BOSS 302, with only 1600 or so produced, is my all-time favorite -- that's why I own one!!!

I've owned seven Mustangs all together. They all had their charm and qualities -- 65 A-Code Convertible 4-speed, 66 Convertible, 4-speed with added K-code motor, 69 Mach 1 M-Code, 86 Saleen (Saugus Speedway Pace Car), 2005 GT Redfire, and the 69 BOSS pictured below at Willow Springs:

That's really a tough question....depending on your age there may be "sentimental" favorites (boss 302, 71 Boss351, etc.)....if you are talking from a technology standpoint then of course it has to be the '07 Shelby GT500 - but as a youngster back in the late 60's and early 70's it was a fun time for both pony and muscle cars....

71 351 Cleveland. Light, powerful and very underated! Adapts very well to mods. Shame it was in a 71 and not a 66 Coupe

In that case! The 4-banger mustang should be on the list! It also, handles, accelerates, and stops. Not as well, but it stops better! Wanna know why? B/c if the 4-banger stang, you won't be going as fast so it'll stop quicker!

Many other cars also handle, accelerate, and stop... Several hondas, acuras, toyodas, and volvos do this.
