I almost got a guy in the crosswalk the other day, but that throttle lag let him get away. Now I know I need a custom tune.

I beat up a non stock 2001 M5 a few weeks ago. After I passed him by about three car lengths, he quit.

A 2001 M5 has almost 400 HP. If he were seriously racing you, I doubt you'd be able to keep up, much less get 3 car lengths ahead of it.

I think he was referring to a 2001 GT 5-spd. Re: the bimmer, they may have 400 horsies but those things are PIGs at over 4k lbs and run low 13's. not unrealistic for a modded 05 to keep up at the very least

The new M5's will dust us. V10 505 hp monster engines. I had one creep up on me and swerve around me at about 110mph. The precision was impressive to say the least.

Last night I rolled up on a late model GTO and a Honda civic SI(the egg shaped one) about 35 MPH. I dropped her down in second and cruised for a couple of seconds then the GTO starts surging like he wants some. So we punch it, I think I may have jumped a bit, anyhow I get a half a length on him while my tires are smokin and the new SLP LM are screaming! This must have scared the guy and he backs it down, by this time were runing almost 60 or so, and the civic is LONG gone behind. I'm not sure if the GTO was the 400hp model but either way I felt good. The only mods I have are a JLT CAI, 93 oct tune, SLP LMs and a saleen short throw shifter block. I can't wait until I get the 4:10s(maybe 4:30s) and the UDPs.
