I prefer manual. I like being in control of which gear I'm in.

Ive owned 8 mustangs and they were all stick.

Stick, how does one drive a sports oriented car in an automatic? That's like slamming 6 light beers and being proud of yourself..

Stick over auto any day and my ol'lady loves the car since I showed her how to drive it(mistake)

 

everyone knows CVTs are the way to go!!!!

 

If they could handle more than 150hp lol

 

Pdk or dual clutch automated manual, pretty pricey options though.

 

Auto by force, stick by choice. Gotta make the other half happy and shes more likely to say yes is the car is an auto. Unless they know or are willing to learn how to drive stick

 

I have had 8 mustangs in the past 8 years and the wife has never driven one of them.

and no a auto is not faster.. and one a road course it would be murdered twice as hard. Also when it comes time to get it repaired or upgraded you will be unhappy with the bill.

the cvt in my five hundred handles pretty well. super smooth.

I understand if you need stick because you have a war wound or missing a leg or something. I had a friends who lost most of his foot and had to get a auto.


long story short.. my man card is still in my wallet collecting swagger points from my high level of awsome. true story

 

I don't care if I had the slower car at at the strip , my car is 10 times more fun to drive ,thers nothing like slamming gears

 

My grandma in my car can beat yer ol Lady in your car
