on the feet, half easier so it doesn't feel like

I can see how the manual would be hard on your pedicure.

Give me the auto.
For 2011 and after 412hp is plenty to play with. Now if the Boss could come in an auto I'd consider it.
Oh I turn 62 this year and saving for a new GT

DFV, I hear you there. I've been driving manual trans cars daily for over 12 years now and every once in awhile I have to drive an automatic (rental car, etc) and when I do, it feels really weird, like "Where's the third pedal?"..."I don't need to do anything but steer with my right hand?".

STICK! I wanted an auto, but all my friends said STICK. I'm having so much fun with the stick. Traffic is no problem. Bonus for me was I put a short shift in. "LOVE IT"

awesome here's my take. I would go for the auto stick car with the auto trans with a stick shift lever that would put the car in auto drive mode. It would have to be push button though.

my car is a manual.. BUT if I were buying a new 5.0, it would be an automatic. Faster, more consistent and my wife could drive it too

Manuals are able to be in the right gear for what is needed next where as the automatic is always a second or two behind. On another point. Autos are better for long trips? In my experience it the opposite. On long trips the car stays in 5th for hours at a time. Usually with the cruise control engaged. No shifting to do unless I need to get around something. Then its nice to have 3rd or 4th pre selected for the punch around.

Automatic. Because I like to hold wheel with two hands. Also I can put more attention to driving activity itself without minding the clutch pedal. Imo There is enought torgue in GT to handle the loss of dynamics created by automatic tranny
