5.0 or v6 with procharger supercharger
I must say I am more than pleased with my 2011 v6 stang. The best part about the new v 6 engine and stang is, you get similar power and performance as one got with mustangs previous years big V8 with a sixer price tag
One may think that die hard stang v8 enthusiasts are envious that the new stangs v6 is no longer on bottom of the food chain and can keep with the previous year big dogs, Gt for 6 to 7 k less. Lol

No doubt the Gt will complete the 1/4 mile, 0 to 60 approximately a half cars length ahead of the V6 and have a faster time. That faster time will most likely equate to 2 to 3 tenth second faster than the V6. True the Gt was faster, but for a half a cars length thats very similar power and performance all in a sixer price tag.
Since Ford created the new 305 v6 the older Gt stangs are not top of the food chain anymore. They have to share the glory with the sixers and be remembered as being just as fast as the newer V6 models.

Actually, truth be known I feel bad for stang owners who bought a sweet 2010 Gt spent 32 or 33 k and then find out one year later the 2011 Gt has close to 100 hp more all for the same 32 or 33 k. Not cool.
Personally I would not be a happy camper if I just spent 36k on 2010 Gt because that year V6 was not in the ball park of speed and performance. Then one year later find out I could of spent 29k on a 2011 sixer and saved 7 k.

I don't know where you live but near me a base 2010 GT even with rebates in October 2010 was over 27 and that was a base stock with no upgrades and late into the year. Good luck finding them. No way did Ford sell new 2010 Gt in the beginning or middle of 2010 for 21k.
