There is no prize for being a unique snowflake, yea you will have a fast v6 that will sound like a v6 and be maxed out on it's HP potential and potentially blow the engine...
OR! you can have a v8 that is already fast and sounds like a v8 and can be made much faster than your v6 would ever go.
It's this simple...
And if you say you aren't going to drive it hard, why does it matter how fast it is and why are you going to procharge it?
People with a bunch of horsepower and never driving the car hard I will never understand, might as well have left it stock.

I see where your coming from but those who put up the numbers but dont drive it hard just choose to do so. Why? We may never know but it is an option. I for one am a college student paying my own way through just about everything so a v6 is all i could afford. And i DO plan on driving it hard so it wont be wasted power. And dont underestimate 6 cylinder engines man, they can get pretty nasty

My next car though WILL be a '13 gt500. Or maybe a 2015 gt depending on how they look

Yes!
yes, I must agree with you Al. I get great mileage on the highway or when I drive like a normal person. But when I get on it, it does get a bit thirsty. Although I average 22 with a 50/50 highway-city 20 minute commute and I open her up at least once each way (which I think is decent).

I hear ya. I wish I knew my gas mileage but I can't seem to keep my foot out of it for a whole tank of gas. Pretty sure it's better than 15 but it really doesn't matter.
