in this months motor trend they put the mustang up against the camaro
I dont see how the GT500 would be able to do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, or the Camaro ZL-1 in 3.4 [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif[/img]

Other than the fact that there are NO facts in the article, they seemed to come up with a very low weight for the Camaro. I'm not saying that it will certainly be heavier than the Mustang, but based on their claim that it will be based on an IRS sedan platform I don't see how it could weigh less... Whatever, it's a useless article any way you look at it.

I like how they base a car that will not be out for a while against a current car. Who knows what will change with the stang by the time the camaro come sout.

The "so-called" shootout, was done using all the specs from the proto-type car Camaro. How many times have we seen proto-types show up at the major car shows with 1.5 gazion HP and then when actually released, it's down to 200hp.

Funny story... I was at a car show last week and some neck came up to me and my car and said, "Just wait till the new Camaro comes out..." I said, "No you wait. My Mustang is already here and Chevy once again is playing catch up."
