I'm not sure on the specs of the 95' Mustang GT but i guy at school is saying that their mustang is flat out slaying the new 05's. Is this possible, i have seen the car, stock to the bone. Just wondering any input would be great.

So your saying that the v6 has a good chance of out running this sucker.. Stock with a great driver in the 05 and poor one in the 95.. and real good if u get pro charger and dual exhaust, and the chip and all?

I had a 95 gt and i wouldn't doubt if the new v6 beat it however with the V8 and the way the vehicle is tuned, you'd have to be a pretty poor driver to lose to a 05/06 V6.

GT vs GT...its a decimation.... the 05 GT would flat out destroy an old 95 5.0 (they were slower than the previous gen 5.0s...and even those were slow...stock)

V6 4.0 vs 5.0L is a different story.
I don't know the stock 95 GT times, but I know they weren't great.
Depending on transmissions and all that jazz, I'd say its a good run.
Run him and find out.

And if his argument is that his GT will crush a V6, then..I mean...he's just kicking puppies. He can't pick on the 05GT stock for stock so he has to pick on a v6...get a life

 

He said that it was a 5.0L , with 275lb and more torque than the 05 GT. HE said it was stock. I mean it was purchased from a used car dealer, temp. tags.

 

OOps sorry i thought he meant V6 sorry i was wrong....YEah 05 06 no contest!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

darn, thats as bad as the L98 IROC bozos claiming that they can beat an 05, this considering that IROC 350's were only marginally faster than the same year 5.0.

 

"claiming" being the key words my friends.

and are they stock? cuz those 350s do have some potential.
