IMO, they should have ripped the chase scene right out of the movie except use the current cars, Bullitt Mustang and a black charger.

And Rhumb, get with the times man, its all bagels and green tea these days, doughnuts and coffee are old school cop stuff.

 

Not really. Inspector Dan Robbins was always trying to get Lt. Stone off the coffee and onto the juice and wheatgrass during the 1977 season of The Streets of San Francisco.

Meanwhile, what was Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) eating the first time we saw him in flashback as a cop during season one of Heroes? Yep, the cliched donuts.

 

Just going with the retro Bullitt frame of mind thing here. But yeah, looking at some of the slab 'o beef cops I see nowadays, looks more like they're washing down their serving of 'roids with a gallon of Red Bull on the way to the gym. And that's just the she cops...

 

Hands down the GT500 commerical is better.

 

This is a no-brainer for sure ... the 5.4 heartbeat on the autobahn wins hands-down.

Ford should really reconsider adding some sort of 5.4 as a pencil-in option for the 2008 BULLITT.

 

Ain't gonna happen.

And the GT500 is clearly the superior car in every respect...with the possible exception of handling.

 

I voted the GT500, It looks like you get more for your money.

They are both good. I remember the GT500 commercial from TV. Saw it once.
I wonder if the Bulllitt commercial will make it anywhere but youtube?
