Which one of these bad boys would triumph?

 

I believe the G35 is at 14.83 in the quarter mile. Mustang is 13.8. Car and Driver.

They're two totally different animals though. The V6 in the infiniti is sporty but it won't keep the power curve as well as the 4.6 3 valve.

 

Yea, the Mustang will surely win, but the Infinity is more for those looking for sporty luxury, where as the mustang is all brute force

 

thats really tough...the infiniti is really comfortable, but the sticker is too much...i'd have to say mustang....well i'd choose the g35 over a v6 mustang, but not a v8

But let's not forget that the G35 also comes in a 4 door, that might be a big advantage for some, and a big negative for others. I would imagine that the 4 door would be a little slower due to the added weight.

 

The G35 coupe has a lot more toys than the Mustang. IRS, runroof option, navigation system.

Thing is the Mustang has a torquey V8 that runs on regular fuel and a nostalgic look that is unbeatable
