I will be graduating from high school this May, and would like to get a new Mustang to start out with. I was planning on getting a used 05 v6 convertible (if availible) since next May will be 'bout time for the 07's to start production, would I get a v6 vert fairly reasonable? Or should I wait a few more years?

 

'07 production should start in August not May 06. An 05 should be 1K to 2K cheaper than a compairable 06.

 

oh, I thought the 06's were out before then this year...

 

do you know of any changes that will be made to the 2007 compared to the 06?

 

If you want a used 05 vert, wait until after labor Day. The price usually drops after the summer.

Arin, talk about an automotive (primarily Ford) loving family. I just found out that the blue fox hatchback that I remember riding in as a youngin' was a SVO!! :shock:

 

BTW, I've only had 7 cars... I still have 2 of them.. all Fords... two T'birds, rest Mustangs anyway...
