Well I am disapointed that this doesnt include the stang, but I realize ford's making money off it and they cant keep the orders filled at the moment.
I am curious though about the Super Duty trucks. The F-250 Super Duty XL is showing for $18k and change.. thats amazing! But I am guessing that is not a 7.3L powerstroke is it.. just a gas burner? None of them list what options are on the vehicle.

This really is a great deal. Anyone can buy a new 05 Ford at A plan. Sorry about the no Mustangs, but hey, I think this is what everyone has been hoping for. Fixed, transparent price. You know what it is, your paying the same as the next guy. Nothing confusing. Maybe this is the beginning of a new era in car buying. No more fighting over the price.
Isn't that what consumers want?

My wife and I are actually going to go to Yocum Ford this weekend. At MSRP we really couldn't afford another car but at these prices we are able to. Its up to the wife though
She really wants an F-150

I may be wrong but with an "A" plan you don't pay "doc" fees right? why is everyone charging them? seems to me like this is just another smoke and mirror game.
Maybe I'm wrong but please correct me if I am.....
Ford Explorer MSRP of ?? $30,000
rebate of ?? $5,000
dealer fees $500
total 25,500
Explorer "A" plan $32,000
no rebate
dealer fees $500
Total $32,500
looks like you make more $$ with the new program. am I wrong?

If an Explorer had an MSRP of $30,000, the A-plan would be a lot less than $32,000. A-plan is quite a bit under invoice. Ona super duty it is between $1200 and $2000 UNDER invoice then you get the $2000 rebate plus the $500 Home Depot rebate. If you are a commercial customer you also get the commercial rebate.
In IL we are limited to a doc fee which we charge everyone of $56.32. If a dealer is charging a $500 fee I would steer clear.

I know what you mean. We are the largest super duty dealer between Chicagoland and DesMoines and since I am the Commercial Manager they are all in my inventory. Certain 05 models are starting to dry up such as nice Lariet crew cab diesel 4x4's. Had to go 350 miles for a customer yesterday; only 3 trucks similar in a 500 mile radius of us. Gonna be a lot of fun as the month goes on.

REBATE -$4000
DOC FEE +$55
TOTAL $24055
About $8000 off sticker, no hassle, one price for everyone deal. Buy a pretty well equiped 2004 Explorer XLT 4x4 for $24000. I think that's a good value.
Hey, it sounds like I could write an ad for this.
