Dealer A and Dealer B both put in orders for Mustangs. Dealer A gets all of theirs serialized within a couple weeks, Dealer B's orders take months to Serialize. both have allocations, How does dealer A gets his serialized before Dealer B?

If 2 dealers both have the same number of vehicles allocated for an allocation period, then they will both get their cars serialized and scheduled.
In your scenario, if Dealer B ordered cars that there were commodity issues with, then instead of his orders, Ford would submit what they call regional orders and schedule them instead. The dealer has enough notice to change those or submit buildable orders.

Do President's Award dealers get their orders pulled ahead of the others? I was wondering how I ordered mine in near the middle of June, and was able to get serialized w/ a build date week of Aug 1st

Not necessarily, it all depends on allocation. Every dealer receives so many orders per allocation period and Ford tries to pull the sold ones first, depending on how a particular dealer has the orders prioritized.

That is my beef, There is a dealer in Florida on another forum who gets his orders serialized in a matter of just a couple weeks, While others takes months. How does Ford pick from one dealer before another?

Dealers are allocated cars based on their previous sales. If a dealer sells a lot of a particular vehicle line then he ges more. Also regions that sell more, get more. The southeast for example earns more Mustangs than we do in the midwest. The larger dealers normally will earn more than the smaller dealers.

Thanks, I understand the allocation part, what I don't understand is how to certain dealers get their orders pulled first even though both have the allocations.

If two dealers have equal allocation [which is done monthly], they will both have cars pulled, period ; as long as thye have buildable orders in the order bank. If a dealer does not have a buildable order [commodity issue] then Ford will build what they want to build and send it to them. The dealer has plenty of notice to place their own buildable order.
If a second dealer does not get his orders pulled then either he does not have allocation or the orders he has in the order bank are not buildable due to commodity issues.

On this same topic - how long between serialization and getting a build date? ERL says I'm serialized awaiting scheduling.

Thrusday evenings overnight is when Ford pulls orders and serializes them. Unless there is a commodity issue, a schedule date is assigned within 3-4 business days. Thsi date is the week it will be produced, not the day it will be produced.

Got a build date now. But I thought serialization = vin. Called Ford customer service and she said the car did not have a full vin yet.

Serialization does = VIN.

If you have a build date, you would have to already have a VIN.
