or is it reserved for only the SVT dealers? In my town there is only one Ford dealer (he is also and SVT dealer) and they have six deposit checks for the Shelby. I'd like to increase my odds by finding a small town Ford dealer (non SVT) to place my order, if they can order one.

 

I believe...by the time the Shelbys hit the lots, all of the SVT certifications will have run out. Every dealer will have to reapply to carry the Shelby.

 

We had covered this under another thread a while back. Current SVT dealer will be offered 1 extra car. Other dealers will have to certify and get a car. President;s award winners will also qualify for one. LArger dealers will get extra allocation. If your dealer has 6 deposits, you should look for someone else as the odds of any dealer geting more than 6 is tough.
I have 5 deposits myself and I would guess we will get 2 maybe 3 cars. The other customers were told that we would get them a car one way or the other even if we had to buy them on the open market for over MSRP and the customers are ok with that.
