By the Way Jeff--You have been a wealth of information--Thanks!

hey your car doesnt have the scoop either huh? i still want to add a stripe too--looking at the
one from baltimore street mods in metallic silver --the one that goes over the bumper

the car i got also has the comfort group so there will be some more whistles and bells, and the 18 inch wheels--

Glad to help buddy. Thanks for the compliment! Happy to help out another new Mustang owner, even if I can't literally sell him/her the car. As long as my help, helps him/her, I feel good.

About my car, yeah, I don't have a scoop. Wasn't an option from the factory when I placed my order in August 2005, and I'm not much for fake items on my car. Was thinking of adding the shaker when I ordered the car, but once I saw how well the stripes came out, especially on the hood (they're painted), I just couldn't cut into them! For your car, I would go with a shaker, and here is why. A decent aftermarket scoop is several hundred, and then add for paint. By the time you are done, only a few hundred more for the shaker and it doesn't need painting. And it looks KILLER from inside the car! That would be my choice for a scoop!!!

we have been talking about the shaker. and so far ive priced out a few and

have been reading up on them..

the shaker really looks killer --and it really takes me back also..

can you recommend one over the other?

looks like its time to take delivery in about 2 hours---is there anything sweeter than picking up your new ride??????

Tim, congrats. The feeling of driving your new car the very 1st time is just amazing! I remember taking my car home. It was just striped at the body shop. Boy, did I turn heads with that car leaving the lot (no one had striped a Mustang at the time, I was the 1st in my area). It was a fun ride home, let me tell you.

About the Shaker, the CDC is the best one to buy. To make it look really good underhood, the shroud needs to be trimmed so it doesn't cover so much of the engine bay. Thats the one I would buy. Have fun today and be sure to post up some pics!
