I just sent the 2006 Order Guide to my local dealer. No wonder I haven't gotten the 2005 I ordered February 9! I'm new to this forum. Thanks to all for the good information.

 

I talked to a dealer yesterday, said he would order for MSRP. I'm going to try to get 500 -1000 over invoice?????

 

This is my first post. I am working with a local dealership, through the internet salesperson. I e-mailed him yesterday telling him the order guide has surfaced on the internet, and he said that he had not recieved it yet. I almost could have had a lime green 05 gt that another customer changed his mind on for msrp, but it was a automatic. Oh whell. I guess I will be ordering a 06 windveil blue gt with just the 18in wheel option. I am hoping I can get this for about $26000

 

Dude, all of these performance upgrades are available... it's in a package called "GT"

 

Interestingly enough, the GTO's 18 inch wheel package also uses 235's. And that is down from their 17 inch stockers that use 245's.

How do u guys think the 64e wheels (the fan ones) would like on an 06 torch red gt?

 

dont be too sure that the 64E are fanblades, this has not yet been confirmed...according to my DORA on my 06 order, it says

Bright Machined Painted Aluminum 18" wheels

Could be Bullitts??

I ordered mine with the 64E, I think either one is going to look nice, I would rather have the bulletts but hey I can always sell them here and buy what I want if I dont like it right ;-)

 

Did not see Satellite Radio as an option for the '06 Mustang GT Premium.
Surely, this must be an accidental omission.

So if production of the -06 is Augast 8th, how long does it usually take to get the car....I am going to be putting in my order real soon, I just wounder how long I have to wait to get the car in my hands....

 

Depends on how many orders are infront of you at the dealer you choose and the dealers allocation. If the dealer you pick gets 2 GT's a month and 6 people are ahead of you... you'd be looking at about 4 months... Best to ask dealers about their allocation and how many 06 GT's they have already on order for people.

There is no order code in the order guide but they can be ordered thru parts for around $90 and you can swap them out.

 

I just wanted to publicly thank Ed (ISELLFORD) for all of his help. I ordered my 06 today, and called him with questions, and he was more than polite and helpful. You the man Ed! :worship:
