Thanks Ed....

Things I noticed

-235/50ZR18s on the 2..yes 2 18" rims.
Canadian order guide didn't have the second 18" rim...yet...

-Tungsten Grey allows the Interior Colour Accent Package.
Might be a mistake on the canadian one not allowing it.

I still find it humorous that they only recommend a total GT mix of 38%. They believe we should stock 30% V6, coupe deluxes. Let the commodities issues begin.

Is 64E the "Shelby fanblade" wheel code? Thanks for the guide and an answer to this question, if you have it!

I plan on getting the Pony Package.

Question:

When you get the pony package do you have to get the pony rims?
If I do not like the pony rims can I still get the pony package and get the 17" bullit rims instead?

maybe i wasn't paying attention in class one day...

A 235/50/18 tire seems thin to me. What happened to the 255/45/18 tires, which IMO fit the car much better? The 235/55/17 tires on my '05 GT look like minivan tires, and I'm looking forward to getting something wider. I still want to upgrade to the fanblades (64E?), but was hoping they would be 18x9, which looks unrealistic given the narrow tires fitted to them. 18x8 is probably more in line, which I'm guessing would still work with a 255/45/18 tire.

I put in an order a couple of days ago with the military car sales folks. I ordered the Pony Package with the Deluxe V6. Now I am seeing here that you have to order the Premium V6 to get the Pony Package. I need to check back with my sales guy.?? Sheez. I am thinking about just ordering the GT.

Cool, now I can order my car!!! I'm a little disappointed on the tire size for the 18 inch wheels. Also any one have pics of the new wheels???

Just checked Tire Rack, the recommended tire size for a 18X8 inch rim is 255/45/18.

I was sorry not to see the P255/45ZR18's as an option. Rumor had it that they would be available...

But I was really glad to see that ICAP is available with the Tungsten GT Vert.

Thanks Ed, for posting. You made my weekend!!!

Yes, the 64E is the original option, which was the fanblades. 64W is supposed to be the bullitt rims. Can't wait to see a picture!

When they say "late availability," for the 64W rims, I wonder HOW LATE? I really want those rims, but I don't want to have to wait until the '07 model year is announced. :notnice:

As for the Limited Slip Differential, I didn't see it being an option for the GT. Looks like standard equipment for the GT, like the '05. Another '06 myth removed!!!
