It sure would be nice to see a Ford back in NHRA Pro Stock again! There are a couple of guys competing but they can't usually make the field of 16. It can't be because of the modular engines because nobody has been able to be a force since Bob Glidden dominated in the 1980's. Where are all the guys that race Mustangs successfully throughout the country in other classes? It seems to me somebody could step up to the plate and put those Cavaliers and Mopars on the trailer.
Maybe someone like Roush or Yates could develop some real Ford muscle like they do for NASCAR!
What do you guys think?
Still hoping, Vicky

Ford spends all their money on John Force. (Ford's Racing Director Edsel Ford II, was on SPEED TV last year, and this question was asked of him.)

But I agree, I wish Ford was back in Pro Stock. Would be cool to have Billy Glidden run a Mustang. Don't think it will happen. Bob Glidden and Ford are on bad terms, and Bob started working for one of the MOPAR teams.
