SCCA Solo is low cost, low risk motorsport. No competition license or roll bars are required - just add helmet(helmets are sometimes available to use at the event for free). With over 1,500 SCCA Solo events each year for all levels of driver skill and car preperation, you'll have the chance to guage yourself against drivers from next door or across the Country.

SCCA Solo 2 Home Page

Find your SCCA Region and Local Events

Basic Classes There are sub classes within these, ex.

A stock Mustang goes in the F Stock(FS) Class,
A mildly Modified Mustang on Street Tires can go in Street Touring X(STX), Street Touring U(STU), or E Street Prepared (ESP) Class, the more mods the higher the respective classification.

The Street Modified (SM) Class is really only restrained to having an engine block manufactured by Ford.

The prepared class would be a gutted out, supermodified Mustang that is race ready.

The Modified Class has open wheeled cars.

I am trying to decide whether I will just get an extra set of rims and some DOT R Compound Tires and run only F Stock next year. Right now the only mod I have is the AFE intake and I would have to take that off.
