Rolex Racing

The Grand Am (Rolex) race is getting ready to start at Walkins Glen. When the Heck are we going to see a Mustang in this series? I really don't understand why Ford is not is Rolex Racing.

Ford is in Rolex racing. They are multiple teams with FMC Roush-Yates powerplants (Michael Shank, Krohn, SunTrust).

Blackforest Motorsports (and maybe Multimatic) campaigned a Mustang in Rolex GT about 3-4 years ago with little success.

I love all forms of motorsports, but I'd rather see a Mustang in ALMS GT2 as opposed to Grand-Am. But I do agree it would be nice to see a Mustang in the top GT classes of either series . . .

I think the Mustang would be a better fit in Rolex GT than GT-2. If ALMS opens up the GTC class to other GT-3 cars, that's a whole 'nuther story.

And didja see the end of the GT race at the Glen yesterday? Wow, just wow. Good stuff. Just substitute half the Mazdas with Mustangs and it would have been perfect.
