it would be the same as the advantages for those color lenses in sunglasses, clear for night, yellow for late evening, black is the darkest, etc

Advantage of blue though??? (other than looking cool)

I have never worn sunglasses, and will not for the foreseeable future.

blue might be a bit lighter than the black, maybe?

I know a lot of people who target pratice with guns. Most of them used yellow colored (lens) glasses. I gave them a try, the target did look more clear to me. I don't know if the yellow would help a persons driving or not but if i were in the market for a helmet, i would give the yellow colored sheild a good look at .

Artificial light or hazy, overcast days are good for yellow lenses. They are not what you want for bright sunshine days. I primarily run clear for autocross events because the runs are generally short (under 1 minute in most cases). For a road course, I could see some advantages of a smoked lens or even the blue, but since I don't have experience with that I'll let someone else chime in.
