Well as most of you probably don't know, I race autocross. Its nothing crazy but its fun for me. Im going basically make this thread my picture/video/results thread.

The first three pics my girlfriend was riding with me. Needless to say she had alot of fun but didnt want to ride again. It was an awesome course, one of the best I think Ive ever run

Very cool! Not often you see a convertible Mustang out there ripping up the pavement.

Now I don't have too much autocross experience, but doesn't a cone wedged under the front right tire reduce grip a bit??

What tires you running there?

 

Ehhh it popped out after a few seconds. The tires are Toyo Proxies RA1's 275 all around. The convertible is actually extremely stable because of the extra chassis stiffening it has stock. I Was throughly surprised.

 

You must be generating tons of grip, that's some pretty impressive body roll (that rear hiking up looks like it might just reach orbit!). Are you in a completely stock class? I noticed you list it as bone stock, be curious to see how a set of stiffer bars would help.

 

Yep stock class. I have done nothing to that one. My 99 is typically the car I use but its not running as of right now.

 

Well I had another race again today. It was a blast. Finished 17th in raw time and 12th in pax and won my class. It was a lot of fun.

Yea there usually is. Needless to say I got beat by all of them except the cobra and camaro.
