Official final standings for GrandAm

BMW along with Turner Motorsports and Paul Dalla Lana finished first this year. It was a great year I feel and Ford did great.

Ford finished just 14pts. behind BMW and Roush Racing along with Billy Johnson finished just 7pts. behind Turner and Paul.

I look forward to next year...

Yes it was, Mustangs and M3s for the last several years have had a good rivalry going. It looked like at the beginning of the season BMW M3s were just going to run away with it. The rule change after the 3rd race seemed to even things out quite a bit by lowering the M3s max engine rpm to 8250 vs. the OEM 8400rpm.

Even the Camaros knocked down a few wins as well--I think those teams are finally hitting their stride. I'd expect to see some more serious competition from them in 2012.

The NISMO team still has a lot of learning/development to do.
