"Name that Test and Tune", a pilot on the program Launch Hour shown on the SPEED Channel, has been picked up as a regular show. This is a game show where contestants guess a drag cars E.T. to win money. The show has been renamed "Pass Time" and we are accepting applications for contestants. "Pass Time" season one will be filmed in two locations over four days. November 8th and 9th at Memphis Motorsports Park in Memphis, Tennessee, and November 30th and December 1st at Moroso Motorsports Park in Jupiter, Florida. So if you still want to apply to be on the show follow the above directions in this thread, otherwise come on out and be a spectator. Rich Christensen will be in attendance.

Yeah, it is going to be the 8th and 9th of Nov. at Memphis. I would like to make the trip, and as long as I can get off work, I'm there.

Sidenote: I checked out the website for the show (which really sucks by the way) and it doesn't really sound like the prize money is all that great. Maybe $1,500-2,000 for a winner take all. Plus it sounds like we would have to compete against the "resident expert" whatever that means.

 

The Florida shoot has been changed to Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, FL.

 

Yeah...I turned down my acceptance.....I couldnt see taking off of work and traveling all that way for a chance to win only $3k topps.

 

I'm going to do it I think. I managed to get off work, and it would probably be the only time in my life I ever get to be on a game show.
