In road racing, Ford plans to expand its successful Grand Am Cup Mustang program and build an even higher-performance version of that car which would race in either Grand Am or the American Le Mans Series.

I wonder if Ford considers the Sammy Hagar Saleen racer
as a "higher-level" Mustang effort?
